Kinematics and its application

Question 1: A stone is dropped from the top of a 95.0 m building. The second stone is dropped 0.75 s later. How far from the ground is this second stone when the first stone hits the ground?

Question 2: A student throws a stone vertically upward from the base of a 51 m building at similar time a second student on the top of the building drops a stone. If the two stones collide 12 m from the ground, determine the initial velocity of the thrown stone?

Question 3: A stone is thrown vertically downward from the top of a 96 m building at a velocity of 5.0 m/s. This stone is observed passing through a window which has a height of 2.0 m. Supposing that the bottom of the window is 25 m from the ground, how long (time) does it take for the stone to pass by the window?

Question 4: A small object is floating down a river at a steady velocity of 1.0 rn/s. A student, standing on a bridge, drops a stone when the object is 4.0 m upstream from the bridge. If the stone hits the object, from what height was the object dropped?
