The popularity of video and computer games has led to the introduction of input devices beyond the standard input devices. Players have wanted to remotely interact with a game without having to be tethered to a computer system or game console. Accelerometers, gyroscopes, and sensors have made it possible for players to use gestures to interact with a game or non-game applications. Computer systems now have other types of input data that need to be interpreted when a computer user or game player makes gestures remotely in front of a computer or game console. For example, doctors use Kinect gestures to scroll through X-Ray images on large screen displays while performing surgery without having to touch any computer keyboard or mouse.
