Problem:
Every four years we are given a choice between candidates who are supposed to unite us and discuss plans to help our country evolve. While watching the debate, I wanted to listen to both candidates with an open mind. When they were asked about issues I realized immediately that Kamala Harris shared well-thought-out plans and strategies. I am not fond of the opposing candidate but I did expect him to answer logically. The way that former President Trump responded was almost comical and embarrassing. I respect the republican and democratic parties but find flaws in both. The rhetoric that Trump has built his following on is centered around hate and ego which is something that I can't support.
