Just-in-time (JIT) production method aims at increasing efficiency in the production of goods and services, thereby enhancing decrease in wastes. Ideally, JIT is an inventory management practice that primarily provides for timely receiving goods and services when the demand is present (Lanfranchi & Treble, 2010). This method is useful in reducing inventory costs as well as reducing response time from both customers and suppliers of the company.
