Israel and the Middle East
Since the rebirth of Israel in 1948, the United States and Israel have shared common values, common interests, and a strategic relationship. Conduct a research and identify common interests between the United States and Israel.
a. Critically analyze these interests (350 - 475 words).
b. Identify at least 2 U.S. actions or foreign policies that, for better or worse, impacted the relationship between the U.S. and Israel (350 - 475 words).

Israel is a Jewish state, but draws a distinction between Israeli law and Jewish law.

e. Analyze how Israel's treatment of Jewish law differs from the treatment of Islamic Law by Middle East Islamic nations. For example, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Iran (400 - 475 words).
f. Analyze/explain differences that exist between freedom of religion in the Israeli system and freedom of religion in the Middle East Islamic nations such as Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Iran (375 - 475 words).
