6. Is the language used at an appropriate level for the audience and occasion?
Delivery Style
1. Does the student vary his/her vocal qualities (rate, volume, intensity, enthusiasm) to maintain audience interest?
2. Does the speaker demonstrate sensitivity to matters of pronunciation, grammar, and articulation, avoiding vocal fillers such as "like," "uhm," "ah," etc.
3. Does the speaker make good use of physical gestures and eye contact without excessive reading from note cards or the screen?
4. Are the visual aids professional in appearance and easy to absorb? Is printed text brief and easy to read?
5. Does the speaker adhere to designated time limits?
