Writer Reader
1. Is there information that needs to be provided? Where does the essay seem sparse? By the same token, is too much info. provided in any area? Be specific.
2. Is the context of the paper clear? Has the question "why is this necessary" been answered? Discuss.
3. Is 'the progression of ideas in the essay clear? Have the writer go over it with you.
4. What is the conclusion? Does it seem to be based on the material? (Don't just answer 'yes' here)
5. Is the documentation correct? Are there paraphrases that are not cited? Mark them on the paper.
6. Circle all spelling, punctuation, and grammar errors. Be thorough!
7. On the back, write the three best things about this essay and the three things that need to be changed the most. Then discuss with the author.
