Is Privacy a Thing of the Past, or Shall It Forever Last?
Privacy is not absolute in the age of social media, and technological breakthroughs have profoundly changed it. It is, nevertheless, not completely extinct. The right to privacy is a fundamental principle but must be viewed considering current technologies. To find the correct balance between individual privacy and group security, vigilance, knowledge, and ongoing legal and ethical disputes are required.
As you noted, technology has impacted how people view the concept of privacy, but couldn't it be argued that the concept of privacy is inherently subject to interpretation as the term is the product of judicial interpretation rather than based in the U.S. Constitution?
