Assignment task:
Can you please help with these questions?
Jeanine was not surprised when she started to show signs of menopause shortly after her 47th birthday. She was surprised and pleased, however, at how not bad the changes were. She certainly felt warmer than usual, but adjusting the thermostat fixed that. Jeanine had gained some weight over the past few years, but her had done that as well, and she was sure he was not going through menopause. Vaginal dryness had made sex less comfortable lately, but Jeanine knew she could work through that. Her husband was a caring partner and they both felt comfortable being open with each other. Jeanine had read so many depressing articles about menopause that she had half-expected to have turned into a frumpy old woman overnight. Work had been going well, and with her daughter able to drive, Jeanine didn't need to be a shuttle service for after-school activities. "I can handle this," Jeanine thought to herself.
Q1. Is Jeanine likely a good candidate for hormone therapy? Why or Why not?
Q2. What other steps might Jeanine take to help her cope and feel better during this transitional period?
