Sponsored bloggers and celebrities can hold greater sway over some consumers than advertisers can. People agreed that organic word-of-mouth is different from sponsored word-of-mouth. Influencer marketing relies a great deal on the authentic tone that is struck by influencers. Instagram has 400+ million users and targets a younger audience: It has higher brand engagement levels than found with comparable platforms. It engages audiences visually through images and videos and allows for more nontraditional marketing approaches. Instagram's cynical audience sees traditional ads negatively. If you do not have one, make a personal Instagram account, then identify influencer who is currently paid to promote products. Respond to the following in an essay format between three hundred to five hundred words, 12pt font : Name the person and explain: What are the characteristics of the influencer? How many followers does she/he have? Look through the list of followers. Can you find any trends in terms of demographics? Age, gender, style, etc? How often does she/he post? Discuss stories versus regular page posts. What does she/he post about? What is the balance of personal versus business? How does the influencer's association transfer over to the brand she/he is being paid to promote? If you were Rolex, would you approach the influencer to post about your watches? Why or why not? Is this influencer using other social media platforms? What differences can you see in the content they are promoting?
