ESSAY - SOURCE-BASED ESSAY ON CHEATING
ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION
In this essay, you will be investigating the notion of cheating (in academic contexts). In contrast to Essay 2, you are open to explore any issue related to cheating that you find interesting. As we explore this essay, we will go through selecting and narrowing a topic, formulating a research question, and finding sources.
OBJECTIVES
Students will be able to:
- Select and narrow a topic of focus
- Formulate a research question
- Find and evaluate sources to support claims
- Quote, paraphrase, and summarize information from sources
- Incorporate sources effectively using effective reporting verbs
- Cite sources in MLA format for both works cited and in-text citations
GUIDELINES
- Minimum 1,000 words
- Includes at least five (5) sources
- Follows MLA Format including in-text citations and works cited page
