Problem: Consider that emergency medical services (EMS) profession has multiple hot topic conversations related to engaging in public health, community risk reduction, and community paramedicine (CP). As an EMS leader, we are often tasked with speaking to these topics. Reflect on your local agency's current practice of CP. If your agency is doing CP now, explain whether you think it is successful. How would you improve the CP program? If your agency does not provide this service, how would you introduce the idea of starting a CP program to your agency?
