Problem: For this assignment, your task is to interview a parent/caregiver and observe an infant or toddler for at least one hour. It is best if you can conduct an unobtrusive in-person observation of the baby, but you can also do a virtual observation via face-time, skype, zoom, or another medium. If you are conducting a virtual observation you can observe the baby in multiple short sessions. This is an opportunity for you to apply the theories we discussed during the course to a real-life setting. Students who are unable to secure an observation are welcomed to reach out to their instructor with alternative virtual options. During your observation pay attention to different areas of development. You need to address three developmental areas in your paper. For best results, it will be helpful to identify your goals and expectations and prepare a questionnaire related to the information you would like to obtain.
