INTERFERENCE and DIFFRACTION:
INTERFERENCE: The physical effect of super position of waves from two sources vibrating with same frequency and amplitude is called the interference of waves.
DIFFRACTION : The bending of a wave or its deviation from the original direction of propagation when it meets a small obstacle is called diffraction.
