Integrity
In information integrity, security means that data cannot be customized without agreement. (This is not the same thing as referential integrity in databases.) Integrity is despoiled when an employee (accidentally or with malicious intent) deletes significant data files, when a computer bug infect a computer, when an member of staff is capable to alter his own salary in a payroll database, when an illegal user vandalizes a web site, when somebody is capable to cast a very large number of votes in an online poll, and so on.
