Information regarding blood borne pathogens

Problem: What is a short response to this. This information regarding blood borne pathogens is derived from an external source that I believe most accurately represents my background in public health. Because of my nearly eight years of experience as a phlebotomist and medical assistant, I can attest to the fact that blood borne pathogens are a real concern in this line of work. It is possible to obtain a needlestick from a used needle in this field. Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), hepatitis B virus (HBV), and hepatitis C virus (HCV) are three of the most prevalent bloodborne pathogens that pose a risk to health care workers. Even though I had a needlestick in the past, I was able to avoid contracting HCV-a virus that the patient had-because I had followed all of the necessary protocols. Need Assignment Help?
