Problem: You are planning a gala fundraising event in support of the Canadian Cancer Society at an event venue in Toronto for 500 guests.  Guests will be able to purchase tickets at a cost of $250 per person.  The event will take place on a Thursday evening in November from 6pm to 10pm.  This event will include a cocktail reception from 6pm to 7pm, followed by a 4-course meal and other programming which includes speeches, live entertainment, and a silent and live auction.  There will be some décor, a stage, along with required AV equipment, tables and chairs, and corporate partners will sponsor the event.  This event will be marketed through the Canadian Cancer Society corporate website, appropriate social media outlets, and by e-mail issued to past donors.

Incorporating the 5 phases of the event management process (research, design, planning, coordination, and evaluation) identify each phase and list 3 things that you would need to do (or consider) for each phase.  Be very specific with your list as it relates to the scenario provided!!!
