The ethical norm that is consistent with a person who chooses a LLC over a sole proprietorship would be security. In a limited liability company (LLC) the investors and owners are protected but in a sole proprietorship the partners are liable for all debts incurred by the business. Thus a person who chooses a LLC over a sole proprietorship would be a person who isn’t extremely confident in an investment that they believe has a higher level of risk attached to it (Kubasek et al., 2017).
In your opinion do you think limited liability is more beneficial or the partnership or for the investors?
