In your experience/observations what are some of the reasons for the persistent wage gap between men and women and what can be done to equalize this playing field? We have often heard the term second class citizens. This has been used in reference to gender and to race. Many sociologists believe that women are located in a segregated labor market. Do you agree with this and what does this tell us about gender roles?
