The media often helps to shape our ideas and understanding of what is appropriate male and female verbal and nonverbal behaviors.
Think of a television show or movie that attempts to challenge traditional depictions of men or women. Next, answer the following:
• How does this example differ from other media images you have seen?
• How do these alternative images challenge prevailing norms of what women and men should be?Be sure to name the television show or movie that you assessed.

There are multiple methods for reducing gendered violence. Write a post that answers the following:
• Which, if any, of the ways of reducing gendered violence appeal to you? Why?
• In your current situation, what can you realistically and specifically do to help reduce gendered violence?
• Consider whether you would like to focus your efforts among friends or family, locally on your campus and within your community, nationally, or internationally
• Communicate with a clear voice, and use correct and precise pronunciation so that all audience members can hear and understand.
