In this section we're going to revisit some of the applications which we saw in the Linear Applications section & see some instance which will require us to solve a quadratic equation to acquire the answer.
Note that the solutions in these cases will almost always needs the quadratic formula so expect to employ it and don't get excited regarding it. Also, we are going to suppose that you can do the quadratic formula work and thus we won't be showing that work. We will provide the results of the quadratic formula; we just won't be showing the work.
Also, as we will see, we will have to get decimal answer to these & so as a general rule here we will round all answers to four decimal places.
