In this module, there will be continued investigation into the tools, techniques, and theories that underlie operations management. This module introduces the idea of “quality” and offers a holistic perspective regarding managing processes. Quality is important to every business and is a way through which firms can differentiate themselves from competitors. By designing smart processes, controlling quality throughout those processes, and appropriately managing constraints, firms can achieve a marketplace advantage.
