Hitch: Exploring Interpersonal Conflict in Film
In this course from the first week to the current I have learned a lot about interpersonal communication. One of the most helpful things that I have learned in this course is how to identify problems in interpersonal communications. We have all experienced some degree of interpersonal conflict in our various relationships and daily interactions with people. No two people can agree all the time and that is how you have interpersonal conflict. "Conflict can be defined as angry disagreement or disagreement that has a personal and emotional component" (Sole, 2011). Watching the movie Hitch (Mordaunt & Tadross, 2005) I noticed the lead characters interpersonal conflict. There are several steps that could have been taken to prevent the interpersonal conflict from occurring.
