Watch the 30min talk by Brian Welle on unconscious bias in the workplace (https://youtu.be/_KfKmGb_bT4).
In the talk, Dr. Welle discusses research on unconscious (implicit) bias in the workplace, as well as his work on Google's People Analytics team to help employees become more aware of their own unconscious bias. Discuss how a company might use unconscious bias training to help reduce bias in a selection tool (e.g., interview) or in the entire selection system. Was there anything you found surprising in Dr. Welle's talk?
Where possible, try to incorporate selection terminology from the textbook reading or from lecture.
