Personal Development Portfolio: Managing marketing in a changing world
In the first three weeks of this module, you considered a number of issues that are important to marketing as an organisational function and as a profession in the 21stcentury. You explored the nature of the marketing concept today, assessed input from other disciplines and reflected on the changing demands of tomorrow's consumers.
Write a narrative of approximately 500 words in which you include the following:
- Why you feel there is a need to consider input from disciplines such as sociology, anthropology and philosophy
- How knowledge of these subjects can inform the future practice of marketing
When completing this part of your PDP, you should attempt to be as imaginative and creative as possible. However, you do need to justify your work with logical explanations.
