In Memory This discussion assignment is in memory of those who lost their lives to any of the recent natural disasters such as Hurricane Sandy and Katrina, any of the western states' wildfires, tornadoes, the Southwest rains/floods, etc. Reflect on the topics we have already studied regarding cultural diversity and then relate this information to the disaster you would like to discuss. Is cultural diversity a part of the problem or solution for handling emergencies and the general public? Does diversity affect how others respond and/or ask for assistance? Does it make a difference when dealing before, with and after the disaster? How can cultural diversity awareness change negative outcomes?
