Topic: Improving Police-Community Relations in the New Millennium
Assignment: Write about a particular strategy or strategies that can be used to improve police-community relations in the 21st century. An example is community-specific strategies such as community policing or programs focused specifically on multiculturalism. Another example is a focus on "reimagining" policing in regards to operations, training, communication, etc. Describe in specific examples how the strategy or strategies you choose can be successful in bettering the relationship between the police and the community. Describe what are some possible contributors and/or inhibitors to the success of your strategy(ies).
