Problem:
Trust is an important element of being an authentic leader. An authentic leader is one that is cognizant of their own behavior and thoughts and are seen by others as a leader that has awareness of other's values, strengths, and knowledge and who have awareness of the context of situations. An authentic leader has high moral discipline (Avolio, Luthans, et al.,2004, p. 4 as cited in Luthans and Avolio, 2003).
Can any of you think of a corporate leader in today's world that you consider an authentic leader, based on this definition?
