1. Identify as formal or informal;
2. How it is used (e.g., instruction, strategies, diagnosis of disability);
3. Settings in which it can be considered valid;
4. Importance in the evaluation of growth and development;
5. How to accurately report student progress; and
6. How measurements and evaluations are used?
