As indicated in this week''s Introduction, it asks you to consider how these perspectives impact the creation of policy and the actions taken to prevent and control crime. As a professional in the criminal justice system, whether currently or in the future, it is important for you to consider the perspective you have adopted and what impact you can make on the prevention of crime and criminal behavior.

Reflect on what you have learned in this course about types of crime and its causes and on policy related to the prevention and control of crime.
Bring to mind the social problems and social responsibility perspectives.
