Assignment:
1) In today's world, there are a host of decisions which we make on a daily basis which involve ethical standards and practices. As part of our School of Engineering ABET Student Learning Outcomes, Senior Seminar has been selected as a key course in assessing the quality, extent and impact of your exposure to ethics, ethical practices, codes, and training on your ability to maintain high ethical standards throughout your career. Please reflect on your undergraduate career so far and provide a descriptive synopsis of the ways in which you have been exposed to ethics. Please provide an honest assessment of your opinion regarding if your exposure to ethics has been sufficient. What is the optimum way to provide exemplary ethics training for undergraduate engineering students?
2) You are teamed up with two or three classmates (preferably from your same major) and you have been tasked with providing an honest assessment of the evidence related to the case for impeaching Donald Trump. Please prepare a 1.5 to 2 page brief that highlights the evidence to present the strongest case for or against impeachment based on ethics.
3) You are teamed up with two to three other classmates (not in your major and different from your team for question 2). Please prepare a 1 to 2 page brief that describes the ethical issues surrounding the United State's decision to leave the Paris Climate Accord. Provide a recommendation in support of leaving or remaining in the Accord based on your ethical criteria and engineering analysis.
