Imagine that you have been asked by a corporate leader to develop a plan to motivate and engage workers from diverse generations. Write a proposal to address this request. Be sure to address the following points in your paper:
- An overview and description of the generations currently in the workforce.
- Discuss the various attitudes and values particular to each group.
- Note how much individuals predictably fit with the expectations of their group.
- How would attraction, development, and retention of employees differ for each generation?
- What types of stereotypes about generations might interfere with motivating individual workers.
- What attitudes might all generations share?
- How might different generations inform and influence each other in the workplace?
Provide at least five motivational techniques that the organization could use to assist its workforce. Support your plan with at least 10 references published in peer-reviewed journals in the past 5 years.
