This talks about the benefits of recycling and how it can greatly improve human quality too. Recycling and composting municipal solid waste has saved over 193 million metric tons of carbon dioxide. So not only is the solid waste and recycling helping clean up all the extra waste it's helping diminish the air pollution as well. Economically this has also helped create over 600 thousand jobs! That measures to 1.17 jobs per 1,000 tons of material recycled!
