Problem:
Due to the lack of competence with criminal inadmissibility, a client of an RCIC does not receive his eTA in time to come to Canada from Ireland and misses the birth of his granddaughter. He is very upset now and wants to file a complaint with the College. After receiving the letter from the upset client, what would you, as a colleague, advise the RCIC to do now? What must he do, if anything, to fulfill his ethical obligations based on the Code of Professional conduct?
