Assignment task: Develop a response to this regarding Omichannel with sources

In the ever evolving industry of technology, marketing platforms are driven to adapt to rapid change. The advancement of social media, and platforms that fall under such a category, have surly provided marketing ease. These apps give marketers a window directly to the consumer and benefits from the use of "cookies" and "feedback" that has been used to determine special interests of each individual consumer. Omni-channel is by far a superior format when considering its marketing benefits. Multi-channel uses the product as the focal point in their advertisements and this process relies more on the success of the item, rather than the consumer's specific taste. This is similar to Omni-channel in its format and execution, however it lacks the personalisation that accompanies the Omni-channel format.

There are several cues that Omni-channel takes from traditional marketing strategies. There are so many approaches to advertisement that we have learned from trial and error. Some of the most successful are "blanket ad's" that are posted in order to extend to every available consumer. These types of advertisements work as they are successful at reaching the consumers who are interested. Another traditional advertisement technique is simply incorporating a seasonal luxury, such as ice cream in the summer time. For this to be successful, marketers do not need to target specific consumers, they just need to know what products would be enjoyable and when to advertise them. These strategies are perfect for the Omni-channel world and create great success in their application.

Marketing is a science that evolves. The need for range is imperative when considering the sheer number of competition in today's economy. In order for a business to be successful in their marketing strategies, they will need to incorporate these new tactics. Taking advantage of the information that is gathered by platforms such as Meta, and their collection of data that includes consumer interests, is one of the strategies that will prove to be greatly successful. Paying for television programing advertisement does not have the same value as it used to.
