Question: Copyright Protection
(a) If you spend the time and effort necessary to alphabetize the names of the students at your school and list their e-mail addresses, can you copyright a printed version? Explain.
(b) A legal studies of business professor copied movie clips and showed them to his class to illustrate various points of law. Is this a "fair use"? Suppose he copies the clips and sends them upon request to other faculty around the country who request them for their classrooms. Has he violated copyright law?
