If I'm trying to discover the H field of a coaxial cable consisting of two very long cylindrical tubes, separated by linear insulating material of magnetic susceptibility (Chi)m. A current I flow down the inner conductor and return along the outer one; in each case the current distributes itself uniformly over the surface. What will the H field B in the region among the tubes, the region of the inner tube and the region of the outer tube and outside both tubes? Will it be dissimilar for each one?
