If I use a pH calculator to find the ph of .035M of citric acid, I get a pH level of 2.32. However, when I try to find the pH by doing -log10(.035*3), then I get a pH of 0.97. Why is this? If it helps, there are .00105 moles of NaOH and by the stoichiometric coefficient, .00035 moles of citric acid.
The equation in question is C6H8O7 + 3(NaOH) -----> C6H8O7Na3 + 3(H2O)
