On your most recent evaluation you received comments that you need to utilize more varied, research-based, instructional strategies in the classroom to have a greater impact on student achievement.
Based on the meta-analytic data in the Heystead & Marzano article, in conjunction with the information from the Rosenshine article, along with text information.
• Identify two to three strategies that you could begin utilizing to impact student achievement.
• Describe the strategies and,
• Explain the statistical research evidence for these strategies on the potential to improve student learning. (Pages 9-11 from the Heystead & Marzano article will be especially helpful).
• Locate an online resource or handout that could be used with students that exemplifies this strategy. Attach this as an appendix to your essay. Note the information about the handout in the body of your essay.
The response should include a reference list. Using double-space, Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
