In order to develop appropriate advertisements, it is important to understand the target audience. To help you develop skills in this area, select two advertisements (either print, online, or a television commercial) targeted at two different generations. Then, develop a paper that addresses the following:
- Identify the two advertisements you selected. Define the demographics targeted by the advertisements and the characteristics of each of the target audiences.
- Outline the creative strategy used to reach each of the selected target markets.
- Determine the effectiveness of each advertisement's communication appeal. Provide examples to support your ideas.
- Explain how each selected advertisement uses the universal advertising standards in Chand's web article.
- Provide recommendations you would make to improve each of the selected advertisements.
Support your paper with a minimum of three scholarly resources published in the last 5 years. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included.
Length: 5-7 pages, not including title and reference pages (Hint: Be sure to cite your two selected advertisements within your reference page)
