Determine where your drinking water comes from. I don't mean the faucet, although that's what most people would say. Start with the point in the hydrological cycle that your community draws its water from.
- Identify the specific source.
- Next, what happens to the raw water?
- How is it then delivered to you?
- Last, what happens to that water after you're done with it (remembering that it is not created or destroyed)?
