Instructions
This homework provides you with an opportunity to create a code of ethics for you and your family, as well as to explain the strategies and thought processes that went into developing the code. First, create an original code of ethics for your family by thinking about your family as an organization. In your code of ethics, please include the following items:
1) guiding principles,
2) purpose of the code,
3) core values,
4) training and education (How will you train and educate others about the code?),
5) definitions,
6) who it covers,
7) mission statement, and
8) other pertinent elements you feel necessary to have a comprehensive code of ethics.
The next part of this homework involves an evaluation, where you describe the thought process behind the code of ethics that you prepared. For the evaluation part of this homework, draft an homework to include the following items:
1) Identify the key roles of those who have a vested interest in the ethical behavior that your code defines.
2) Explain the strategies and thought processes that you used to formulate the code.
3) Explain how you would strategically implement and communicate the code to others in the organization.
4) Explain how you will monitor the practice of ethical decision-making.
5) Provided that laws exist and have been enacted for resolving conflict, why do we also need a code of ethics?
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
(1) The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
(2) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
