Assignment task: Your post should be three paragraphs in length with each paragraph addressing one of the three prompts listed below.
a. Paragraph one: Identify the disease and provide a description: this can include a general statement about what it is, history of the disease, and/or where in the US or the world is this disease found. You must include the cited reference with your post to be eligible for full credit for this paragraph.
b. Paragraph two: provide information about how it can be transmitted (how do we get the disease) and organs in humans that may be affected. This can include information about the symptoms because this will be related to organs involved.
c. Paragraph three: provide information about how it is treated, are there any long-term effects, and/or is there any on-going research to identify a treatment or cure.
