Problem
I. Question I: "Subtractive knowledge" represents a concept in philosophy that is employed to reduce risk by identifying "what not to do" and "what to avoid." The logic behind this concept is that we know what is wrong with more certainty than we know anything else. Informed by the notion of "subtractive knowledge," post a list (8-10 items) of some actions that we should avoid in order to reduce the risk of miscommunication during cross-cultural negotiations. Briefly justify each point in terms of how it could prevent miscommunication.
II. Question II: An ongoing debate has been about whether or not building a wall on the US-Mexico border could significantly help with national safety. Note that "building a wall" represents an alternative decision. Informed by the Rational Decision-Making Model (Define the problem, Identify the decision criteria, Weigh decision criteria, Generate Alternative, Evaluate Alternative, Select the Best Alternative)assess the effectiveness of this alternative decision.
