Part 1 Research statement and research question
This part will comprise a single page describing : your topic for a research paper; and how you went about choosing this topic and how you went from a broad topic to a research question.If you used a concept map, free writing online searches etc. this should be included as well. This research topic will be used for your final project.
part 2 Annotated bibliography of books.
Part1 : Search terms used to search for information on your research.
Part2 : Use your search terms to search Concordia library catalogue and list the number of results found.
Part 3: Select 3 sources that are relevant to your research project and 1 which is not relevant.
Evaluate the sources according to the following criteria:
Author(s):Whataretheirauthorityorcredibility
Date of publication: Is it current?
Purpose: Why was this written?
Relevance:Why is this relevant /not relevant to your research?
Writing quality and arrangement : Is the writing clear to you? Is the writing well organized?

Part 1 : Identify the data base you used to search for information on your research question.
Part 2 :Use the search terms identified in assignment 2 and select 3 articles that are relevant to your research project and 1 that is not relevant.
Evaluate the articles according to the following criteria:

¤ Author(s) : What are the irauthority or credibility
¤ Date of publication : Is it current?
¤ Purpose : Why was this written?
¤ Reliability and accuracy : What are the evident that the information is reliable and accurate?
¤ Article length
¤ Graphics :How many and what type?
¤ Relevance : Why is this relevant / not relevant to your research?
Part 4 Searching and evaluating information on the Internet including but not limited to websites, images, videos, and games.
Identify the search terms used relevant for your research project.
¤ Specify the number of hits.
¤ Select 5 sources you found.
¤ Describe the information you found and who wrote it.
¤ Evaluate the information found.
This project is partially based on the four Parts you completed. You will use the four Parts given to develop a detailed outline of a research paper.
