Problem
A. Review the primary diagnosis-of HTN and be able to differentiate the stages based upon the current guidelines.
B. Identify the appropriate medications to control hypertension, based on current guidelines.
C. Identify risk factors for the development of and control of hypertension and Hyperlipidema (e.g. food, tobacco, ETOH, exercise)
D. Identify appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic (e.g. lifestyle modifications, etc) interventions, diagnostic testing, patient education and follow up.
