Assignment: Marketing Strategies
1. Choose any product you can think of.
• Using Porter's generic strategies , explain the marketing strategy that is behind marketing that product (e.g. low cost, differentiation, focus).
• On what do you base your conclusion? What evidence can you cite?
2. Think about the companies/brands that you regularly use or frequent.
• From these, identify one company that seems to be customer-centric.
• On what basis do you make that assessment? What is the evidence that this company is customer-centric?
• Does this company or brand provide a distinctive customer experience?
• What are the elements of that experience?
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
