Problem
• Identify the most significant environmental factors ie external conditions such as government or regulation (we do not mean here Global Warming) that are putting pressure on the internal operational of the major organisation (no specific one but discussion in general) for making change for the healthcare segment/sector that you chose to work on above.
• Four or more environmental factors must be identified
• Provide strong justification for your selection of the environmental factors (external conditions) EXTERNAL INDUSTRY CHALLENGES, INTERNAL WEAKNESS, and NEW TRENDS
• Discuss the specific challenges on dental healthcare industry is facing;
• Identify any weakness (ie. existing areas within the segment needing improvement) within the sector;
• Identify and trends currently occurring within the segment.
Based on your analysis above, formulate strategic responses that could be implemented to effect positive change in your selected healthcare industry sector.
ETHICAL ISSUES
a) Discuss the specific ethical issues facing the dental healthcare industry. Your discussion must be very specific to the sector with citations. Do not give your opinion about what constitutes ethical issues rather, your discussion must be founded on solid research and analysis.
b) Highlight why the ethical issues are relevant to the sector.
c) Provide analysis on what is currently being done in the sector to address these ethical issues, if any. Provide an example if possible.
