This assignment anticipates an application and analysis of the introduction to leadership and influence as covered in the first section of your text.  

Activity Instructions

For this assignment, address the following:

• Identify and explain the differences between contingency and behavioral theories presented.
• Discuss the differences between motivation, personality and leadership styles and traits
• Examine how ethical considerations impact leadership styles
• Consider cultural and geographic/environmental differences and argue the impact of challenges facing leadership reaction
• Compare and contrast how power and politics can influence leadership

This assignment must be written in a formal, APA 6^th Edition format. This includes summary form, 3^rd person only and must include references. The main focus needs to be answering the questions with well-reasoned, insightful analysis. A simple recitation of what is in the case or the text is not adequate.
