One of the primary objectives of Chapter 3 is to define interdisciplinary studies and introduce other concepts important to the field as a whole. As we learn, definitions matter but words can take on different meanings depending the discipline that is using them.
For this post, identify a word (or concept or phrase) used in one of your disciplines that takes on a different meaning in another discipline. The definitions don't have to be completely different but there does need to be a distinction between the two. Discuss what the difference is between the definitions, if there are any commonalities and why it is important to understand their differences and commonalities.
